I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor and a registered member of the BACP.

I have 15 years experience working as a therapist in physical, mental and holistic health, with clients on a 1:1 basis and in groups, a role that I feel passionate about and privileged to undertake.

I received a Diploma in Person Centered Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (University of Salford) and certificates in Transactional Analysis and creative therapy. I am a trained and trauma informed Mindfulness teacher (MBSR, MBCT) having completed courses with Breathworks Foundation and Bangor University, Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice.

I undertake regular professional development opportunities in specialist areas (via workshops, conferences, and online training) Alongside, and prior to therapeutic work, I have worked for a number of groups and charities on projects and events around wellbeing and mental health, an ongoing passion to be involved with and which adds to my understanding on mental health.

What to expect:

Throughout your time in therapy, our relationship is absolutely central and the approach taken will be as unique as you are. Our sessions may incorporate trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, creative and cognitive tools, techniques and ideas, which will support you to arrive at solutions and conclusions that are aligned with who you are.

My training and experience has given me the skills to help you move forward with whatever you are facing with self-compassion.

I work with client's both on a short term (6 weeks) and long term basis, depending on what is right for you. Sessions are 1 hour long and can be weekly or fortnightly.

Whether you have been for counselling before, experienced other therapies or are considering it for the first time, your questions are entirely welcome and we will work collaboratively throughout.

As a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) I am bound by their ethical standards, including confidentiality.

You can contact me via text, email, phone or via the contact form on this website - whichever you prefer.

Following this I can offer you a free brief phone call (approx 15 minutes) or an initial reduced price session 1 hour long session, in which we can discuss your reasons for coming to counselling and the the way in which we might work together.
